Ingredients
| ¾ cup | Tree Top Cinnamon Apple Sauce (egg substitute: ¼ cup applesauce per egg) |
| 1 box | Spice Cake Mix |
| Water and vegetable oil (as listed on box; typically 1 cup water, ½ cup oil) | |
| 8 oz | Cream Cheese |
| ¼ cup | Powdered Sugar |
| Orange candy melts | |
| Green and Black Icing | |
| 12 | Cake Pop Sticks |
Instructions
| Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the spice cake mix according to package directions, substituting Tree Top Cinnamon Apple Sauce for the eggs. | |
| Bake as directed on the box. Let the cake cool completely. | |
| Crumble cooled cake into a bowl. Add cream cheese and powdered sugar; mix until smooth. Chill mixture for 30 minutes. | |
| Roll mixture into balls. Press each ball gently with a cake pop stick on four sides to create a pumpkin shape. | |
| Melt a small amount of candy melts. Dip one end of each stick in the melts, then insert into the top of each pumpkin. Chill for 1 hour. | |
| Melt remaining candy melts in a bowl (thin with coconut oil if needed). Dip each pumpkin pop until fully coated. Place on wax paper to harden. | |
| Once the candy is set, pipe green icing for vines/leaves and black icing for the jack-o’-lantern faces. | |
| Enjoy! |
